Sipadan - A Diving Paradise

Sipadan Island, a world renown dive site where words are not enough to describe its splendor and uniqueness. It is located in the east coast of Sabah, Malaysian Borneo and is easily accessible by flight via Tawau and thereafter by road. It’s diverse marine life which includes turtles, schools of barracudas, manta rays and many others are sights to behold. Mabul is another beautiful island where most of the resorts and chalets are located and  is a haven for macro fishes.  At Mabul, beach diving and snorkeling is free of charge, provided you bring your own equipment. The island itself provides one with an avenue to meet with the locals and get to know their culture.  Therefore Sipadan and Mabul is a must visit for the divers and snorkeling enthusiasts.

Day One

Early morning, transfer from city hotel Kota Kinabalu to Tawau by flight and thereafter to Semporna by road. At 1000Hrs, boat transfer to Mabul Island, check-in to island resort/chalet. After lunch, a short safety and procedural briefing by dive master. You should be on an orientation dive (1st dive) by 1400Hrs and followed by your 2nd dive. At 1600Hrs, proceed  back to chalet. Dinner and overnight at resort/chalet.

Day Two

Breakfast will be served at 0700Hrs. At 0930Hrs, get your equipment ready and proceed to Sipadan by boat. Your  1st dive will be followed by lunch. At 1400Hrs, commence your 2nd and 3rd dive. At 1630Hrs, proceed back to resort/chalet. Dinner and overnight at resort/chalet.

Day Three

After breakfast, go for one boat dive and back to resort/chalet for your transfer back to Tawau and thereafter Kota Kinabalu.
